I'm still here!!!!

Sorry I've not been posting much, but what with one thing and another only been reading post, (the laptop being on it's last legs hasn't helped matters either).

My daughter Karen has let me have her little laptop so hope I can contribute more now.

There hasn't been much activity on here lately, so we all must try to post more or it may be a case of 'if we don't use it, we may lose it' and that would be a terrible shame.

So lets get posting. ThumpUp ThumpUp

Hi Lyn

I am still here; although have been moving house over the past 2 weeks; now back at work and trying to catch up with emails etc.

Sorry I haven't replied as yet regarding the get together in May; waiting to hear if hubby is working that weekend or not.

OK, OK, been to Norway for 2 weeks then the inevitable aftermath and like some others just trying to have an RA holiday as well. The depo is still working so I'm enjoying it whilst it lasts! I know though that I've got to go and have a long chat with my GP about things before seeing him that must be obeyed in April. I feel a post coming on already! Good to catch up with everyone and see a few old faces back

Hi Lyn I haven't posted for a long time but have been reading the posts , I'm on Enbrel at the moment ,started it last August as the Rituximab did not work but have had 2 bad flares this last few weeks so don't know if it's stopped working ? Got an appointment with RA nurse on Thursday , been told I have osteoarthritis in my right knee ( left knee got replaced 3 years this July ) and it's been playing up.

Hi all,

Good to see so many of you are still around. Sometimes it's good just to read posts and we don't all have things to write about all the time. But it is good to stay in touch and know that the support is still there if it's needed ThumpUp

Hope you will ALL think about coming along to our get-together (details below) in May. It's a great opportunity to meet with others, put names to faces amd make new friends. Children are very welcome to come along as are partners, although some of us do come on our own! Easy access by car, train and plane! Please come, you will have a great time BigGrin

Hello Sophie

I m so sorry to hear all you have been going through, you have been having such an difficult time and having sleepless nights due to pain is awful, I feel so sorry for you. It does make you wonder whether the Enbrel has lost its effectiveness lets hope you get positive news from the nurse. I started Cimzia last July, I had ups and downs like you do, and very slowly with each dose I have been improving and from changing over to methotrexate injections the other week has helped as well.

Hope you get a better sleep tonight.

Love Julia xx

Cooeee...

We've been away to the New Forest and as I am still in remission (fingers crossed) I thought I might try some tree climbing!
